Nerdy Football Analysis: The Rams are holding out hope that Akers will be able to play in the postseason. All this means for right now is that Akers is making very good progress and that his three-week practice window is now open. While it remains unlikely he will be anything more than a bit player in the playoffs if he is activated, it provides hope for his dynasty managers since he should have a full offseason to regain the form he showed as a rookie.
