Working through toe and ankle injury
Not much of a surprise, but despite being listed as questionable with a toe injury, Broncos RB C.J. Anderson will play tonight, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Despite conflicting reports earlier in the day, Anderson is expected to draw the start in Kansas City after getting in a limited practice on Wednesday. Last year’s second-half standout probably should be expected to cede a few more carries than usual to Ronnie Hillman if he is limited in any way, but it also wouldn’t come as a surprise if tops 20 carries if the ground game starts clicking like it did at the end of Week 1.
