Would prefer to play in Philadelphia
According to ESPN, the Bucs are actively seeking to trade DeSean Jackson, whose preferred destination is the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jackson, 32, is in the final season of a three-year, $33.5-million contract with the Bucs and has $10-million owed for 2019, but none of it is guaranteed. (Tampa Bay Times)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Jackson doesn’t see himself as a good fit with Jameis Winston and wants out of Tampa. Four of his five TDs last season came with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center. It will be difficult for the Bucs to trade his $10 million contract as any interested team will likely just wait until he is released before instigating serious talks.
