Jeff Driskel will backup Drew Lock
Joe Flacco had 2 medical opinions on MRI exam of neck. He’s been in Baltimore-area home and hasn’t been checked out by Broncos medical team since season’s end, at least not in person. But w/no more money guaranteed in contract. Broncos able to release him. #9sports (Mike Klis on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Flacco played in 8 games last season before giving way to rookie Drew Lock. His neck injury will need to be evaluated by team doctors before any team takes a shot on him as their backup. He’s off the fantasy radar for now.
