MCL sprain
Teddy Bridgewater has an MCL sprain and is day-to-day for a franchise that has been cautious with injuries this season. Still, he hasn’t been ruled out for Sunday. (NFL Network – Ian Rapoport)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Carolina is 3-7 and has been conservative with how quickly it has brought players back from injury this season, so there’s at least a decent chance he’ll sit out against the Lions. P.J. Walker came on after Bridgewater’s injury late in the fourth quarter and would be the expected starter in his absence should the latter get ruled out. Walker would be a decent option in two-quarterback and superflex leagues after showing off decent mobility during his college days at Temple.
