49ers’ running backs Matt Breida and Alfred Morris, both listed as questionable for Sunday with knee injuries, are expected to play vs. Chargers barring any setbacks, per source. Breida was further along physically at end of week than Morris, but both expected to go. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Breida appeared to suffer a serious knee injury against the Chiefs last week but later returned to the game. He was limited Friday. With both backs active, it’s hard to trust either on in this matchup against the Chargers especially with Beathard at quarterback. Breida would be the preferred option in PPR leagues but only as a flex consideration.
