Just when you thought it was safe… An NFL source tells New York radio station WFAN that there’s “no doubt” Tom Brady will serve a Deflategate suspension this season after the NFL’s appeal is expedited. “Boomer and Carton” show co-host Craig Carton said a “very influential person in the NFL” told him “there’s no doubt in his mind” that Brady will serve a four-game suspension this season after the NFL’s appeal is heard. Carton said the league is attempting to get the appeal of Judge Richard Berman’s decision that overturned Brady’s suspension expedited. (CSN NE)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Whatever the case is, it’s too early to tell as no appeal has yet been heard. Should there be any truth to this rumor, Brady owners would be wise to stockpile another decent arm for later in the season. Stay tuned.
