UDFA a frequent target of Dak Prescott during offseason

It was Blake Jarwin, not Geoff Swaim, making a splash in offseason activities. Dak Prescott regularly targeted Jarwin up the middle, particularly in red-zone situations. Jarwin’s been studying Jason Witten film and Prescott spoke highly of his ability to get open. It was a step in the right direction, Jarwin said. “I’m happy to continue to build that chemistry between us,” Jarwin said, “and the respect that I can be in the spot so he can get to me and trust in me that I’ll catch the ball.” (Dallas Morning News)

Nerdy Football Analysis: Jarwin played four offensive snaps last season, all of which came in Week 10 against Atlanta. In other words, he’s going to fly under the radar in fantasy leagues barring a terrific preseason showing or two. With that said, it’s notable if any pass-catcher showing chemistry with Prescott in an offense trying to replace the 219 targets left behind by Dez Bryant and Jason Witten. He’s worth keeping in mind as a TE2 candidate in the final rounds of deep drafts.
