Bengals add their tight end that they were missing. Irv Smith, a former second-round pick out of Alabama, just finished his fourth season with the Vikings.

Nerdy Football Analysis: Smith has shown flashes of upside during his time in Minnesota but has very rarely been fantasy relevant due to injury, missing the entire 2021 season and playing only 8 games last season. He’s never topped more than 365 receiving yards or 36 receptions. With Hayden Hurst moving on to Carolina, Smith will have an opportunity to start with the Bengals but will likely settle into TE2 territory if he’s able to play a full season.
