Multiple interested in moving up
The Chicago Bears have been approached by multiple teams about trading the No. 1 pick in this year’s NFL draft, and Chicago is said to be “leaning toward” moving the pick, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Bears own the top pick in a year when anywhere from eight to 12 teams could be looking to make a switch at quarterback. (ESPN)
Nerdy Football Analysis: If the Bears are comfortable with Justin Fields, then the likely outcome is for them to move the No.1 overall pick. A number of teams inside the top 12 will be looking at quarterbacks with Alabama’s Bryce Young expected to be the top option. The Texans, Colts, Raiders, Falcons and Panthers are all trade-up candidates unless they land a quarterback in free agency.
