Shoulder injury to Luck may give Hasselbeck the start
Via Mike Chappell of IndySportsCentral.com, Andrew Luck was not out with the other quarterbacks at the start of practice Friday. He was limited both Wednesday and Thursday with a shoulder injury. If he can’t go, the Colts would start veteran Matt Hasselbeck, who hasn’t started a game since Nov. 4, 2012. They signed journeyman Josh Johnson today since they were carrying only two on the active roster going into the week. (ProFootballTalk)
Nerdy Football Analysis: The signing of Johnson tells is the Colts are concerned about Luck’s availability for Sunday against the Jaguars. He’s officially listed as Questionable. If Luck doesn’t play, it would be difficult for fantasy owners to trust Hasselbeck who hasn’t played in a regular season game since 2012. The Colts passing game as would also be devalued but RB Frank Gore would get a slight boost.
