Amari Cooper wants to remain in Dallas

Finished with 79 catches in first full season as a Cowboy

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper says he hasn’t had any discussions with his agent about his contract but told me he wants to be in Dallas for a long time. Hasn’t spoken to new WR coach Adam Henry but says wants to get feedback from OBJ and Jarvis Landry. (NFL Network – Jane Slater)

Nerdy Football Analysis: Henry coached Beckham and Landry last season in Cleveland and a few years prior to that at LSU. Cooper fought through injuries for a good chunk of 2019, setting career-highs in both yards (1,179) and touchdowns (eight). The Cowboys also have to find a way to pay fellow impending free agents Dak Prescott and Byron Jones, but it seems more likely than not that Cooper will remain in Dallas.
