Initial diagnosis indicated QB fractured his collarbone
Tests have revealed that Bills QB AJ McCarron did not suffer a fracture in his collarbone, per a source. (ESPN – Adam Schefter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Schefter later tweeted McCarron is expected to return to practice “soon.” Josh Allen has reportedly already been named the starter for the Bills’ dress rehearsal game against the Bengals this weekend, so one would have to think he will be named the starter shortly if he doesn’t lay an egg in that game. The Bills’ offense is probably going to be one to avoid as a whole this season for the most part regardless.
