49ers WR watch:
Will play: Brandon Aiyuk
Maybe will play: Deebo Samuel
Probably won’t play: Jauan Jennings
Samuel’s ribs aren’t the issue. It’s the knee injury, which cropped up after the Giants game, that’s been problematic. He missed WED & THURS practices, was limited today. (Matt Barrows on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: It seems the 49ers will get Aiyuk back in the mix after missing Week 3 with a shoulder injury. We’ll have to wait for confirmation later this weekend on Deebo and running back Elijah Mitchell who injured his knee in practice on Thursday. If he sits, Jordan Mason would elevate into the No.2 role behind Christian McCaffrey.
