AP: “Being out there confirmed I’m ready to roll”
After three practices on his surgically-repaired knee, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson says he’s “ready to roll.”
Peterson said he’ll play Sunday against the Colts, his first game action since suffering a torn meniscus in his right knee Week 2, he told Dash Radio during an interview on Friday afternoon. (Minneapolis Star Tribune)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Interesting. It’s tough to gauge how much Peterson will play and while he’s definitely worth an add if he’s available in your league, the Vikings run game has struggled this season. Peterson (31-50) averaged 1.6 yards per carry in his first two games this season.
