InjurySuffered torn miniscus in Week 2

Adrian Peterson is officially back at practice for the Minnesota Vikings. The team announced Wednesday the running back was designated for return from injured reserve and will suit up for practice. Teams have one return designation per year and must identify the player on the first day he begins practicing.

Nerdy Football Analysis: Minnesota hasn’t had a legitimate rushing attack since Adrian Peterson went down with a knee injury in Week 2 this season-Vikings rank last in NFL with 73.4 rushing yards per game. The positive news is encouraging but it doesn’t appear that Peterson will be ready for action this weekend. He would make a splash for fantasy matchups in Week 16 so long as he is cleared to play and the Vikings remain in the playoff hunt.
