HC offers strong vote of confidence
Matt LaFleur reiterates Aaron Rodgers will be here “for a long time” as #Packers QB: “Is that a trick question? Absolutely. There’s no doubt about it. You’re talking about the guy who’s going to win the MVP of the league. We’re not in this position without him.” (Ryan Wood on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: The Packers put themselves in the position of having to field these kinds of questions for the foreseeable future when they traded up for Jordan Love last spring. Be that as it may, Rodgers is under contract through the end of the 2023 season and the most likely time to get out from his deal isn’t until the end of next season. Of course, that assumes Love shows something between now and then and Rodgers isn’t playing at an MVP level.
