Toe injury
The Cincinnati Bengals star wideout said the boot, required after surgery following a season-ending toe injury, will be gone in about a week.
“Next step is I put on a shoe and I start bending it back more and moving it more,” Green said. “The biggest thing is it’s the offseason and we have time. We don’t have to rush anything. The biggest thing is getting range of motion back.” (Cincinnati Enquirer)
Nerdy Football Analysis: A.J. Green originally injured his toe in Week 8 then tried to return in Week 13 but only played a quarter before heading to the sidelines. His post-surgery recovery time was estimated to be 3-4 months which should give him plenty of time to be ready for training camp at the end of July.
