Foot/ankle drama continues
Bengals’ WR A.J. Green visited today with noted foot specialist, Dr. Robert Anderson, per source. If Green is in Green Bay today with a foot doctor, hard to imagine he’ll return this season. He’s scheduled to be a free agent this off-season. (ESPN – Adam Schefter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Much like James Andrews and ACL tears, players who visit Dr. Anderson tend to do so expecting the worst regarding foot injuries. Green was unlikely to return this season after missing the first 15 weeks and this visit pretty much slams the door on it unless the visit was a recheck of some sort. Green’s priority at this point is to be healthy by the time free agency begins in March.
