Nerdy Football Analysis: Mitchell was able to practice on Friday which is key for him being active on Sunday. Head coach Kyle Shanahan did say that the team “will be able to protect Mitchell’s broken finger”. He’ll likely be a gametime decision but it sounds like he’s trending towards playing. Jeff Wilson will fill the lead back role if Mitchell sits.
