WR Marquise Goodwin is signing with the 49ers, per source. Redskins were interested, but Goodwin liked his other options available. Reports indicate Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon will be?heading to the San Francisco 49ers on a heavily front-loaded contract. (Washington Post)
Nerdy Football Analysis: The 49ers and new coach Kyle Shanahan are rebuilding there wide receiver group. Torrey Smith is gone and it appears Garcon and Goodwin are in once free agents can officially sign on Thursday. Goodwin is a speedster who averaged 14.9 yards per catch with Buffalo last season. Garcon played for Shanahan while the two were together in Washington.
