Club makes it official
The San Francisco 49ers announced on Monday that the team has agreed to terms with Kyle Shanahan to become the 20th head coach in franchise history. “The San Francisco 49ers are very fortunate to be able to bring in a coach of the caliber of Kyle Shanahan,” said 49ers General Manager John Lynch. Nerdy Football Analysis: We’ve known this move was coming for weeks. Shanahan was named the AP Assistant coach of the year for his offensive work with the Falcons. Shanahan and new GM Lynch are both signed to six-year deals.
