In this article we’ll cover some of the stronger value players you can build your core around with in tournaments while finding some low owned boom or bust players you can also to mix in to separate yourself from the field. Keep in mind that some of the more obvious value plays and others available due to late injuries may not be mentioned in this article. My basic strategy in GPPs is to look for players who meet as many of these criteria as possible: 1) Plays on a team with a shorter rotation due to very recent injuries or roster turnover 2) Has a deflated price due to poor performance mainly attributed to a tougher schedule, poor shooting, foul trouble, or game flow scripts that were not optimal 3) Has little public momentum (generally as a result of #2) 4) Often plays a wide fluctuation of minutes based on matchups and in-game performance.
