InjuryStill labeled day-to-day with abdominal injury

RENTON, Wash. (AP) — Marshawn Lynch’s return for the Seattle Seahawks won’t come until the NFC wild card playoffs at the earliest. Coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that Lynch had not rejoined the team and remains ”day-to-day” in his recovery from abdominal surgery in late November. Carroll had indicated earlier that there was a chance that Lynch could rejoin the team this week and possibly play in the regular-season finale against Arizona, but he will instead be sidelined for the seventh straight week. Nerdy Football Analysis: With Thomas Rawls (broken ankle) already out for the season Seattle will continue to lean on a RBBC approach that includes Bryce Brown, Fred Jackson and Christine Michael. None of them are recommended fantasy options for Week 17. Marshawn Lynch is progressing from surgery and figures to return to the top of the depth chart once he is cleared for game action.
