Nerdy Football Analysis: The Jets believe they have their franchise quarterback and aren’t going to wait to see if he is ready for the challenge. The No. 3 overall pick completed 64.4 percent of his passes in the preseason, but his 5.4 yards per attempt is not the stuff of legend. Darnold is obviously a strong dynasty hold, but he should only be considered as a bye-week fill-in as a rookie.
