Nerdy Football Analysis: This season just doesn’t look like it is going to go Freeman’s way. In a game in which the game script could not have been better and the rookie could have seen in upwards to 20 carries, he instead suffers an injury that will almost certainly sideline him through Denver’s Week 10 bye. As a result, Phillip Lindsay should see enough of an increase in work to move into low-end RB1 territory, while Devontae Booker will likely work in a change-of-pace role.
