Nerdy Football Analysis: Richardson was once considered the best back to come out of the draft since Adrian Peterson when Cleveland made him the No. 3 overall selection in 2012. Since that time, the former Alabama standout has done virtually nothing to justify that draft pick and even showed up in Oakland overweight when many speculated the Raiders might be his final shot at a NFL gig. He was released in the first wave of cuts, meaning Latavius Murray, Roy Helu and Michael Dyer each soundly outperformed him.
