Daniel Fells handling blocking duties in scheme

Even with Eric Ebron out with a hamstring injury, the Lions have spent significant time with two tight ends on the field thus far in training camp. Nerdy Football Analysis: Fells was signed as a free agent in the spring largely for his blocking ability to beef up the run game, and Anquan Boldin was let go. A shift to two-tight end personnel could free up more opportunities for Ebron, who remains a back-end TE1 with upside.
