Rookie RB totals 142 yards, TD in feature role
Jeremy Langford steeped up in the feature role with Matt Forte unavailable for the Bears, and will likely see more touches even when Forte returns, according to a report by ESPN. (ESPN)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Forte’s knee injury opened the door for the Bears to feature Langford, who was the club’s 2015 fourth-round draft choice. Even though Ka’Deem Carey technically started the game, Langford played the majority of the snaps, finishing with 142 all-purpose yards, one TD and a two-point conversion.
