Week 9 of the fantasy football season had a chance to be the most interesting week all season.
How so, you might ask? The NFL trade deadline came and went on Tuesday, but as usual, no major deals were made on deadline day.
Of course, we saw the New England Patriots deal linebacker Jamie Collins to the Cleveland Browns, but there were rumblings of San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Torrey Smith and even Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery being dealt.
But that’s all they were—rumblings.
Even though the deadline was depressing from an entertainment point of view, we look ahead to Week 9 and the headaches it will inevitably give us.
Week 8 is where the chalk plays in DFS went to die, so hopefully Week 9 can be a bit more kind to your superstar players.
We have a few injury updates to get to, as well as a certain player coming out of retirement.
