Giants QB calls it a career
New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is retiring after 16 seasons and two Super Bowl MVPs. Manning, 39, steps away holding almost every passing record in team history and a pair of Super Bowl rings. (ESPN)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Manning got benched after Week 2 and filled in for an injured Daniel Jones in Weeks 14 and 15. He is set to be a free agent in February. His W-L record is a very mediocre 117-117 and while his two Super Bowl wins will get him Hall of Fame consideration, his uninspiring stats provide fuel for keeping him out of the Hall.
