Jeffrey, Goedert dealing with calf injuries
Still healing from an injured abdomen, Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson will miss Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions. Pederson didn’t rule out the possibility of receiver Alshon Jeffery and tight end Dallas Goedert being ready for Sunday, though, despite both players’ dealing with calf injuries. Nerdy Football Analysis: Jeffrey and Goedert are listed as questionable and will be gametime decisions. The Eagles play on Thursday in Week 4 so they may opt to deactivate Jeffrey and/or Goedert this week to ensure they’re ready the following week. Nelson Agholor is likely to see the biggest benefit if both Jackson and Jeffrey miss.
