Seahawks head coach talks up RB

Rookie Alex Collins will see some action, but Carroll has made it clear that Thomas Rawls will be the primary back.

“He’s been ready for about four or five weeks, and we can really see that he can turn it around and count on his legs and count on his quicks and all that kind of stuff,” Carroll said. “We haven’t gotten him the ball as consistently as we would like, and any runner needs to get the football to start to get a feel for it. “I hope, like I said last week — I want him to get the ball 20 times this week. We’ll see what happens, we’ll see how the game goes. (ESPN)

Nerdy Football Analysis: Carroll routinely talks up his players and while it’s nice that be would like to get his running back 20 touches, it’s difficult for fantasy owners to put a lot of stock in his words. The matchup is decent but with Alex Collins likely to see action and Rawls being inefficient lately, its hard to trust him as anything more than a DFS tournament play.
