Jets WR feels “stable” and might take on Chiefs
Brandon Marshall didn’t practice Monday because of the knee injury he suffered in the Jets’ win over the Bills on Thursday – one that looked much worse at first glance – but he remains optimistic he’ll have a chance to play Sunday when the Jets take on the Chiefs in Kansas City. Nerdy Football Analysis: “The school I come from is, don’t rule me out until Sunday. I need all the way up until pregame warmup to see if I’m good to go,” Marshall said Monday. “Right now, I feel stable. I feel good. And I’m going to work my tail off to get out there and be out there with the guys.”
This is worth monitoring, but with Eric Decker and Quincy Enunwa (ribs) playing well, Marshall may not have to be forced back into action so quickly.
