Knee injury
The Buffalo Bills Tuesday placed defensive end Shaq Lawson and wide receiver Jordan Matthews on their injured-reserve list, ending the season for both players.
Lawson suffered an ankle injury in Sunday’s 23-3 loss against the New England Patriots. Matthews had been dealing with a knee issue. (Buffalo News)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Matthews had a disappointing first season in Buffalo (25-282-1) battling both knee and thumb injuries. Zay Jones will operate as the Bills No.1 receiver with Kelvin Benjamin nursing a knee injury of his own. Wide receiver Brandon Reilly will be called up from the practice squad.
