Missed Week 15 with ankle injury
It’s early in week, but Raiders WR Amari Cooper appears on track to return Monday vs. Eagles from ankle injury. HC Jack Del Rio: “We hope to get him back to practice and have a good week of practice and be ready to go Monday night.” (Las Vegas Review)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Perhaps nothing would be more symbolic of this season than if Cooper dominated the Eagles, as his Week 7 torching (11-210-2) of the Chiefs was about the only time he lived up to his early-round draft status. For the few owners who made it to their league’s championship game in spite of Cooper, they should feel free to keep him on their bench. He’s a candidate to bounce back in a big way in 2018, but things are going to need to change in Oakland for it to happen.
